Gwen is a relative youngster in the chantry, only fifteen years old, but she has been in training at the Tor for the last eight years. Though she’s a bit small, she’s quick, intuitive and very enthusiastic about her craft.
Gwen is part of one of several families in the Glastonbury area who claim the lineage of the Aeduna. She was invited to spend a summer at the Tor, having showed promise and by virtue of her bloodline. Over the past eight years, she’s grown to spend more time at the chantry, a gradual introduction to the will-working lifestyle that allowed her a semi-normal life and a less jarring Awakening.
She explores the concepts of divination and scrying through the traditional methods of the Gardeners of the Tree, learning the secrets held in the past, present and future. Although she will typically use a scrying pool and the like in Glastonbury, her foci also include some other, more risque (especially for her age) trance-inducing techniques she picked up while serving as the chantry’s Herald. She travels around the British Isles and in Europe, and Gwen has grown skilled at using the Paths of the Wyck.
Due to her job as the chantry Herald and the notoriety they’ve gained amongst the Traditions, Gwen’s presence on the road is in much demand, with chantries worldwide seeking out any information about the rite of the slain king. Consequently, Gwen is one of the scarcest of the Tor witches.
Image: Gwen is a Welsh youngster, and it’s hard to miss from her looks. She’s thin and willowy, keeps her dark hair cut short, and she has a few freckles that give her a bit of a childish look, much to her chagrin. She tries to look and act older than she is. She prefers light green robes and dresses that are easy to slip out of at the drop of a hat, and she likes gold jewelry, though not what’s loaded down with precious gems.
Gwen is the Page of Wands. A diviner, also called Ovydd or Vates. She is a Welsh druidic novice and wears a green robe in rituals.
